Ok it's been awhile but it's also been less than 3 months so that's an accomplishment. Happy 2009! I spent my holidays in Europe and that was lovely. Highlights include:
- eating a chocolate banana crepe while watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night
- architecture
- getting blown over at the top of a cold, snowy Swiss mountain
- Roman history
- gelato in the rain
- Michelangelo's Pieta - I have never been moved by a sculpture before seeing this
- not having anything stolen out of my lost luggage, which returned to Toronto 4 days after I did.
Other than that, we have also acquired a 40" LCD TV and home theatre system, a new sofa (yes, guests will be invited and welcomed shortly), I've actually seen and hung out with some friends recently (including you, yay you!), I have winter tires on my car (she is much happier), and I'm working a lot.
I'm going skydiving when it warms up. Who's in?
